The Iron County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man and charged him with 12 counts of rape of a child and 12 counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child.
Detective Sgt. Jody Edwards from the Iron County Sheriff’s Office told SUN News that Neftali Riquelme, 34, is a well-known acquaintance of his alleged victim. The abuse has reportedly been going on for several years.
Riquelme was booked into Iron County Jail on a $1.2 million cash-only bail on the 23rd of July.
