Tuacahn Production Brings the Sea to Life

If you are looking for a show for the family filled with jaw-dropping special effects, you might need to go under the sea. In Tuacahn’s performance of Disney’s The Little Mermaid, both children and adults will be in awe at the creativity displayed in the costumes, set design, and choreography.

To start off the show, rushing water from rocky ridges behind the stage flow heavily down the path onto the stage itself. Throughout the performance a wall of water streams down, keeping the stage wet, and various light projections creates the illusion that you really are under the sea. The performers walk and glide across the water-filled stage, splashing water left and right. The costumes were well thought out as the actors were able to get them wet, dance and appear as fish and other creatures, and last (but not least) they glow in the dark!

Kids loved the show and everyone enjoyed the fire displays and all of the great stage effects. The show will be playing until October 21 every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
