The Dixie State University women’s soccer team fell at Azusa Pacific University 2-0 Thursday.
Through the first 45 minutes of play it was a scoreless defensive battle. Neither team could get on the board and entering the second half, the game remained tied at 0.
In the 48th minute, APU broke the scoreless tie, and less than a minute later doubled their lead to 2-0.
DSU was not able to recover and the remainder of the match played out like the first half did.
DSU plays at Point Loma Saturday.
