The Red Storm women’s soccer team’s winning streak was broken by BYU-Hawaii.
The scores remained even until the Seasiders netted a last minute goal for the first half, bringing the score to 0-1, BYU-H.
Seasiders senior forward Abbie Fronk brought her team’s second goal in the second half and put them ahead of Dixie by two.
Dixie had multiple shots on goal but couldn’t connect the ball to the net in the second half. The Red Storm outshot the Seasiders 16-7.
Dixie went down to 6-4-2 overall and 6-4-2 in the PacWest conference.
The Red Storm play Hawaii Pacific University at 7 p.m. on Thursday at Hansen Stadium.
