Locals Only: Discover area’s ancient past at Little Black Mountain

Directions to Little Black Mountain from Dixie State University:

-Head east on 700 S.
-Turn right onto River Road.
-Follow River Road for about 7 miles until it crosses the Arizona state line and turns into a dirt road. 
-About 0.4 miles after crossing into Arizona, turn left at the sign that reads, “Little Black Mountain Petroglyph Site.”
-After driving over 4 miles, you’ll arrive at Little Black Mountain. 
-Follow the trail to the north to see the petroglyphs.
