A St. George woman is in jail tonight after police say she falsely reported the shooting of three individuals.

St. George Police dispatch informed SUN News, they received a 911 call at approximately 5:30 p.m. from 24-year-old Daphne S. Alldredge, who reported three individuals had just been shot in a shed behind the house at 35 W. 300 S. After investigation, the claim was found to be false and no one was injured in or around the home.

Officers responded to the scene without delay due to the urgent nature of the call, utilizing emergency lights and sirens. Officers secured the perimeter and contact was made right away with one of the residents of the home. The resident indicated no one had been injured and no criminal activity had taken place.

Officers then requested the other occupants of the home to come outside, including Alldredge. All were in good health, free of injury and no weapons were found or gunshots fired at any point. No evidence of criminal activity was found in or around the home or shed. Family members indicated that Alldredge may have been under the influence of a controlled substance, causing her mental state to suffer.

Alldredge was arrested and booked into the Washington County Jail for 911 abuse, disorderly conduct, and false report.
