Just before 2:30 a.m. Saturday, St. George police received a report of a missing man, 29-year-old Thomas Corbin, near the Southgate water tank overlooking Bloomington. St. George Police Captain Kyle Whitehead told SUN News that multiple crews were called to the scene where they found Corbin’s body at the bottom of the cliff. Teams spent several hours attempting to retrieve his body and were finally able to do so around 1 P.M.
Corbin was last seen with a friend atop the cliffs who was taken into custody and released later that day. Police are still unsure exactly how Corbin ended up at the bottom of the cliff.
